Michelle Joy Jardine started Blu Joy Productions to produce original creative content. Her debut original short film, "We Want A," was an 11x Official Selection, 10x Award Nominee, and 4x Award Winner during the '23-'24 Film Festival season.
Michelle is passionate about social justice, politics, urban planning, and the intersection of social change and education through storytelling. She returned to her hometown of Chicago after completing her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Acting with a minor in Political Science at the University of Cincinnati and working as a digital video producer and videographer for the Tim Ryan Senate campaign.
She has continued working in digital and television media for political campaigns, candidates, and government officials. Michelle brings a unique point-of-view (and sense of style) to any project.
As an actor, Michelle had a co-starring role in "Chicago Fire" and a supporting role in "Man Obsessed" with Onairus Films. She recently closed her first professional theater production as Izzy in David Lindsay-Abaire's "Rabbit Hole" at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center. Michelle is represented by Lily's Talent Agency.
