MiCe Film Festival, organized by the Asociación Cultura, Arte y Comunicación (A.C.A.C.), will take place in Madrid between the 3rd October and 28th of November 2025, with the screening of the short films selected in the different competitive categories and also the ones belonging to non-competitive sections.
The MiCe is a film festival aimed at children and young people that takes audiovisual education as a basis. We intend to be the great audiovisual screen made in the classroom and the professional film focused on education.
Important. You can only submit your film through the FilmFreeway platform. There will be no exception.

MANDATORY SUBTITLES.
All enrolled films must be subtitled in English, except those whose language is Spanish.
If the movie is selected, a copy of the movie will be sent to the organization without any dialog subtitles. Subtitles will be sent in .txt .ass .srt .doc .docx format or any format that includes the start and end times of each dialog of the sent copy.
The organization aims to make MICE fully accessible to people with hearing problems thus, all selected films will be subtitled in the official language of the festival Spanish.

La MiCe Film Festival, organizada por la Asociación Cultura, Arte y Comunicación (A.C.A.C.),, que tendrá lugar en Madrid del 3 de octubre al 28 de noviembre de 2025, con la proyección de los cortometrajes seleccionados en las diversas categorías competitivas y con secciones fuera de concurso.
La MiCe es un festival de cine orientado a niños, niñas y jóvenes que toma por base la educación audiovisual. Pretendemos ser la gran pantalla del audiovisual realizado en el aula y del cine profesional focalizado en educación.
Importante. Sólo puede presentar su película por la plataforma FilmFreeway . No habrá ninguna excepción.

SUBTÍTULOS OBLIGATORIOS.
Todas las películas inscritas deben estar subtituladas en inglés, excepto aquellas que su idioma sea el castellano.
Si la película es seleccionada se enviará a la organización una copia de la película sin ningún tipo de subtítulos de diálogos. Los subtítulos se enviarán en formato .txt .ass .srt .doc .docx o cualquier formato que incluya los tiempos de inicio y final de cada diálogo de la copia enviada.
La organización pretende hacer la MiCe totalmente accesible a las personas con problemas auditivos, por lo que realizará el subtitulado de todas las películas seleccionadas en la lengua oficial del festival castellano.

A short film can only be registered in one section. If you register in various sections, only one the registration will valid.

3. SOLO PARA ESPAÑA. Cortometrajes realizados por niños-as hasta 12 años de Escuela Primaria. NO VALIDO PRODUCCIONES NO ESPAÑOLAS
4. SOLO PARA ESPAÑA Cortometrajes realizados por jóvenes hasta 18 años de Secundaria y bachillerato. NO VALIDO PRODUCCIONES NO ESPAÑOLAS
Un cortometraje solo podrá inscribirse en un apartado.

REGISTRATION RULES
ENTRY RULES.
1. Films cannot exceed 15 minutes due to limited screening time. The number of entries per author is open.
2. The language of the MiCe Film Festival is Spanish.
3.Subtitles are required, except for films produced in Spanish. It's preferable to send a copy with Spanish or English subtitles (or both, preferably).
4. Please ensure you submit an HD quality version of the film. These copies will be used for the preview and screening. DVDs are not accepted.
5. Eligible films must have been made in 2023, 2024, and 2025.
6. There is a registration fee for the professional/adult category A.
7. There is NO entry fee for CATEGORY B films.
8. Films may only be submitted through the FilmFreeway platform. There will be no exceptions.
9. The deadline for submitting films is June 30, 2025.
10. MiCe does not pay fees or screening rights for the selected short films, regardless of the category they are submitted to.
11. All films will be pre-screened by a jury for selection. They will select the films to be shown at the MiCe Film Festival.
12. Your entry and selection authorizes the MiCe Film Festival to use clips from the film for promotional purposes on television, online, in advertising, news, and/or in any other media.
13. Before the start of the festival, all entrants will be informed by email about the films selected for the MiCe Film Festival.

SELECTED FILMS
14. Films selected in any category for the MiCe Film Festival 2025 may be used for screening at non-profit educational events within the festival's events.
15. Selected films must submit a copy in the highest possible quality (Non-DCP) without embedded subtitles, and in a separate file (in .srt, .ass, .txt, .docx, etc. format with the start and end times of each dialogue) with the English or Spanish subtitles of the supplied version.
16. The rights holders of the supplied and selected films implicitly agree that the MiCe Festival may make copies of the films with embedded Spanish subtitles for screening during the MiCe Festival, to make the films accessible to the hearing impaired. 17. Films presented at previous editions of the MiCe Film Festival will not be eligible.

INTERPRETATION
19. The Festival Organization reserves the right to decide on all matters not specifically regulated in these regulations.
20. Participation implies acceptance of these regulations. In any dispute, the decisions of the Festival Organization will be final.
ESPAÑOL

NORMAS DE INSCRIPCIÓN.
1. La duración de las películas no puede superar a los 15 minutos debido al tiempo limitado de proyección. El número de entradas por autor es libre.
2. El idioma de la MiCe Film Festival es el español.
3. Los subtítulos son obligatorios, excepto en las películas en español; siendo preferible enviar copia con subtítulos en español o subtítulos en inglés (o ambos preferiblemente).
4. Por favor, asegúrese de presentar una versión en calidad HD de la película. Estas copias se utilizarán para la vista previa y la proyección. No aceptamos DVD.
5. Las películas elegibles deberán haber sido realizadas en los años 2023, 2024 y 2025
6. HAY cuota de inscripción para la CATEGORÍA A profesional/adulto.
7. NO HAY cuota de inscripción para las CATEGORÍA B.
8. Sólo se puede presentar la película a través de la plataforma FilmFreeway. No habrá ninguna excepción.
9. La fecha límite de presentación de películas es el 30 de junio 2025.
10. La MiCe no paga cuotas ni derechos de proyección de los cortos seleccionados sea cual sea la categoría a la que se hayan presentado.
11. Todas las películas serán visionadas de antemano por un jurado para su selección. Seleccionará las películas que se muestren en la MiCe Film Festival.
12. Su inscripción y selección autoriza a la MiCe Film Festival a usar clips de la película con fines de promoción en la televisión, en línea, en la publicidad, las noticias y/o en cualquier otro medio.
13. Antes del inicio del festival todos los inscritos serán informados por correo electrónico acerca de las películas seleccionadas para la MiCe Film Festival.

PELÍCULAS SELECCIONADAS
14. Las películas seleccionadas en cualquier categoría para la MiCe Film Festival 2025 podrán ser usadas para su proyección en eventos educativos sin ánimo de lucro dentro de los actos que se realicen dentro del festival.
15. Las películas seleccionadas deberán enviar una copia a la máxima calidad posible (No DCP) sin subtítulos incrustados, y en un archivo aparte (en formato tipo .srt, .ass, .txt, .docx, … con los tiempos de inicio y final de cada diálogo) los subtítulos en inglés o castellano de la versión suministrada.
16. Los propietarios de los derechos de las películas suministradas y seleccionadas aceptan de manera implícita que el festival MiCe realice copias de las películas con los subtítulos incrustados en castellano para su proyección durante el festival MiCe, para que las películas sean accesibles a las personas con problemas auditivos.
17. No serán seleccionables las películas presentadas en ediciones anteriores a la MiCe Film Festival.

INTERPRETACIÓN
19. La Organización del Festival se reserva la facultad de decidir sobre todas las materias no reguladas específicamente en el presente reglamento.
