Masala Steps

An investment advisor Paresh ( Vikram Kocchar) when suffered a big loss in business, decides to end his life. While  he was about to take the unlawful action, he hears a voice stopping him. It was  of a ropewalker Asif( Krishna Bisht) who was training his daughter,but  provides Paresh revelation of an important lesson in his life  and relationship with wife Anuradha ( Prakruti Mishra)

Director Biography - Rohit Gupta

Started his career from a Documentary' Hope against Darkness' a documentary on Blind Music Talent took the festivals to a storm and this won 'Best Documentary award' at RIFF 2015 .

Rohit Gupta is known for his Horror Parody film 'Death Book 2' which has been officially part of Cannes Film Short Film Corner 2016.

His Film ‘the Punishment’ has been awarded the’Best Film on Women 2017’ at CICFF and best Film on Women and also was the official selection at ‘Dada Sahab Falke Film festival 2017’, the film talked about the witch hunting in rural society. Now film is selected and released at pocket films channel and already grossed 1Million Views. All shot with Non-Actors

As, a writer Producer he is working on India’s First Space Mission Film ‘Mangalyaan’ inspired from Real Mars Orbital Project of India

Director Statement

I have a coaching style of working which for me is a good way of working on the rehearsals. I prefer people with a basic understanding of what they are supposed to do and then motivate them to move ahead. For me rather than being authoritarian, I prefer more engagement and suggestions. On the sets, I speak what is relevant for them and not too much speaking If a person knows 'clearly' what his role is whatever it is, right from actor to production person, your show runs automatically.”
