Director Biography - Maria Lepkowska

Maria Lepkowska (Warsaw, 1971) has been involved in various artistic techniques since her youth, focusing on painting and dance. In 1994 she moved to Italy, where she continued her university studies at the Academy of Fine Arts. Participating in various exhibitions, she has continued her artistic research through different media: sculpture, drawing, painting and video art. Since 2011 she has been working as an art teacher in the state schools. She currently lives and works in Frosinone, in central Italy. Painting remains her preferred medium of expression, through which she reflects on human life in its various facets: love, loneliness, conflict, friendship, pain, happiness.
