Director Biography - Nicola Gastaldi

Hello! I’m Nicola Gastaldi, London based motion designer and animation director.

Currently working at Google Creative Lab, I’m proud to be also part of the directors roster at Unit9. I’m also a lecturer at UAL and mentor at Created Academy.
With more than 15 years experience, I’ve been lucky to work with some great people and friends at MPC, Ogilvy, Jack Morton, Universal Everything, Mother Design, Smoke & Mirrors.

I have proudly received two Vimeo Staff Picks, the Excellence Award by Gif Magazine, I’ve been part of teams that won Yellow Pencils at D&AD, Cannes Lions, FWA awards and UKMVAs awards. Some of my personal projects have been exhibited around the world and at the Design Museum in London.
