My grandfather was a Viennese sculptor who knew Gustav Klimt and Egon Schiele. My grandmother was a distant cousin to Gustav Mahler, and my mother schooled with Hedy Lamarr. I have been researching for a book about my grandfather titled "Brothers in Stone." His statue of St. Francis of Assissi was restoed and rededicated in a prominant spot in Vienna Oct 2022.
