Arturo Rodríguez is a Mexican independent filmmaker from Mexico City.
Regardless the insistence of his parent to pursue a Bachelors Degree, he enrolled to filmschool and attended for two years before dropping it after filming various short films and realizing a full-time schedule for studying filmmaking was hard to maintain while needing to pay the bills of an adult independent life. Months later he began working at Mexican TV Channel 'TV Azteca' where he directed the documentary series 'Vidas Apasionantes' (Enthralling Lives) and met the sport anchor Antonio Rosique who later began his film producer career with the short documentary 'Immersion', inviting Arturo to direct it.
Arturo is currently writing his first feature film and collaborates in different projects as a camera operator, editor and director.
