Jose Luis Isoard Arrubarrena was born in Mexico City on October 17, 1988. He studied Political Science and International Relations at Mexico City’s ITAM. Soon after enrolling he realized he still wanted to be a filmmaker, so he had to teach himself how to be one.
He has produced around a dozen short films, from the screenplay to the editing room. But he mainly writes, with more than thirty short film and nine feature length screenplays completed. He ventured into features with the low budget Bosco, a fun existential western. Magnífico will be his second feature film.
Magnífico is a feature film project in development. We took four scenes and rewrote them to work as a short film.
