Sophie Capshaw-Mack is a neurodivergent filmmaker and new media artist. Sophie investigates the nature of consciousness through her practice. She holds a Master's in Environmental Science and Policy from Columbia University and a Bachelor's in Philosophy from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.

Sophie has had the privilege of collaborating with distinguished institutions such as Columbia Climate School, Columbia University Press, Duke University Forum for Scholars and Publics, The City University of New York (CUNY), The George Washington University School of Medicine and Health Sciences, the Government of Iceland, and the United Nations International Computing Centre (UNICC).
