Rémi Bakkar is a French director originating from the small town of Drap, outside of Nice, France. He originally set foot in the United States in 2008 as a performer for Cirque du Soleil, where he had his first glimpse of big productions. This sparked his interest in creating and, in 2014, he eventually made the move to Los Angeles from Las Vegas to pursue a career in stunts and entertainment. From there he discovered a passion for photography that was fueled by his fellow dancers and his performances on stage, alongside music artists. Continuing his career in stunts, he exercised his creative ideas through shooting action previs. This blossomed into a desire to create more and tell stories. Eventually, this led him to want to test his own abilities to create his first short film with a story very personal to him.
