Director Statement

As a filmmaker, I wanted to step out of the zone of feature films and attempt a new genre. Hence, the opportunity to film the moments and journey of a creative artist like Narayana Bhattathiri was too good to miss. Over a period of 8 months, I followed and observed the work of Bhattathiri to create this documentary.

It was a beautiful journey, maybe as beautiful as his calligraphy.
