Lovekhana CityDrift starts out with Mårten driving go karts at Skara Sommarland, and after finishing the session at the go kart track he decides to ask the attendant if they offer anything to do with skidding or drifting at the amusement park. The attendant then answers that there is an old closed down attraction he could show Mårten, after agreeing on checking it out they walk through the amusement park and reach the doors of a abandoned attraction.

Director Biography - Joakim Tagesson

I'm a self taught filmmaker started from the ground up. I have always loved the tense cinematic feeling you get when watching a big Hollywood blockbuster. My goal have always been to make it look as high budget and cinematic as i it can, with out the means of necessary camera gear.

Director Statement

This project is very personal for me, since this was a huge undertaking on everyone's part, with zero budget and just three day's of shooting, and no prior knowledge if the car would even get grip in side of the mall. A lot of unknowns that we figured out on location and no retakes. All the driving is first try.

We as a team have learned a lot of a production of this scale everything from being effective on location with filming to the editing side.

The goal with this project is to showcase what we can do with zero in budget, with only pure enthusiasm in mind. And for the next project find sponsors/contributers. And hopefully have a easier ground to pitch from.

Thanks to everyone involved that was on location helping with everything from cleaning on location to logistics. Cheers!
