Director Biography - Kody Theo

My name is Kody, I am 22 years old, and I am an aspiring filmmaker and photographer. I graduated from University College Cork in 2020 with a BA in Film and Screen Media, and now want to pursue a career in the field of film.

I have always been a storyteller. From the age of six, I have been writing and reading books, hoping to one day, bring some of my favourites to the screen. The idea that an entire story can be told through one shot, angle or score is extraordinary, and I not only want to be in this industry, I need to be in it. I don't know anything else that drives me forward more than this.

I have experience working on independent projects, as well as films created as part of my university degree. My short film "lost boys." was the first film I directed, which was also my final year thesis film. It was this project that made me realise how much I love directing, and I wish to do more in the future.
