The film’s narrative follows a recent graduate who, after experiencing emotional turmoil, embarks on a journey to find solace and, in the process, uncovers their true self. Many of us have gone through similar moments in life, where loneliness creeps in even when we’re surrounded by others. It’s that peculiar sense of isolation—whether due to a lack of meaningful connection or an absence of shared experiences—that I wanted to explore. Sometimes, we feel energized during collective activities, only to be left with a sense of emptiness afterward. The story delves into the idea of removing a person’s few remaining pillars—whether their job, their social harmony, or their romantic relationships. When the last straw is pulled, there’s a strange calm, a sort of awakening, where loneliness leads to profound insight. As the saying goes, “What seems like a loss may actually be a gain.”
