The story of an Iranian singer who has been far away from her homeland since many years ago, and is unable to remember anything but her childhood memories around the Urmia Lake; which is facing the risk of entire disappearance and drought.

Director Biography - Kiarash Motarjemi

Film and Cinema graduate "Kiarash K.Motarjemi" has been producing, writing and directing short fiction and documentary movies since 16 years ago to the present day. He has also directed several music videos in different genres.

"Littoral" is his second fiction and latest short drama movie and has finished on Jan. 2017.

Love, mutual origins between cultures, memories and… Water; All are shared beyond boundaries and land limits.
Drought might not be just the draining of water, but, drying out of many historical roots and memories of different nations and people.
“Littoral” is a glimpse along of this drought shoreline.
