Director Biography - Manuel J Peña

Manuel J. Peña was born in San Juan, Puerto Rico, and grew up in a family of artists who motivated him to pursue a career as an actor and dancer from an early age in the theater. At 10 years old, he was already producing shows in the garage of his house. During his adolescence, he entered the world of cinema and audiovisual content, working as a producer, director and writer. His web series "The Funny Club Show" was a huge success. Amazingly, at the age of 16, he managed to produce his first feature film titled "Yunque Forest: Area 51". He began his studies at Atlantic University College where he managed to make his first short films "El Camping" and "11:11" Determined to continue developing as a filmmaker, at the age of 19, Manuel decided to continue his studies at Full Sail University. There he had the opportunity to further expand his knowledge and skills in the field of cinema.

"Letras al Infinito" is a deeply moving short film that explores the universal theme of love's enduring power. Through captivating visuals and heartfelt performances, we aim to convey the transformative nature of love and its ability to transcend the boundaries of life and death.

The story unfolds in an elegant restaurant, where Maria, a young waitress, and Javier, a charismatic man, share a shy smile that sparks an instant connection. As their love blossoms, their lives become filled with joy and adventure, captivating the audience with their heartfelt journey.

However, tragedy strikes when Maria becomes critically ill. On her deathbed, she clings to a love letter that symbolizes their eternal bond. In her final moments, Maria's words offer solace and guidance to Javier, assuring him that her presence will persist in the spiritual realm.

In an empty apartment, Javier finds solace in clinging to Maria's letter, cherishing their love and the memories they shared. Through this intimate portrayal, we seek to remind audiences of the profound impact love can have on our lives, even in the face of loss and adversity.
