Director Biography - Vadim Ehrlich

Vadim Ehrlich (Ganzha) was born into a family of a crane operator,
so he wrote articles, novels and short stories from his youth.
After going to university, he became a DJ at the university.
His favorite bands were Led Zeppelin Deep Purple David Bowie and Pink Floyd.
Fascinated by music, she studied radio electronics on her own and assembled modular
synthesizers at home, on which she recorded several home albums of electronic music.

While doing journalism, he continued to study music.
He became the producer of the musical group "Maxus".
He assembled a home recording studio with 8-channel analog magnetophones of his design,
and after recording the band's first album, participated in rock festivals.
The music was broadcast on the radio.
When in 1989 the festival "Altyn Alma" - the Golden Apple was held in his hometown of Alma-Ata,
he took part in it..

The guests at his home studio were Peter Jenner, the first manager
of Pink Floyd and Joe Boyd, the head of Rikodisk.

In 1994, the USSR collapsed, he was able to travel abroad. In New York,
he found a job, began to produce his two cable TV programs on the
Mahnhattan Neibourhood Network. As a journalist, he collected information about bands,
and as a videographer, he filmed interviews
and live performances on the night clubs of the Big Apple.

After returning to Alma Ata, he opened several TV programs and registered his private TV company.
He began shooting video clips for music groups.
He shot on a green background and replaced it with a computer background.The actors he hired, along with the singer of the song, played in the video.
All the scenes were shot and mounted at the Metro studio he rented.

One of his videos participated in the Vienna Short Film Festival
and was included in the collection the best European cinema.

In 2004, he moved permanently to Bavaria, in the suburbs of Munich.
He became a freelancer, his subjects were videography, photography and writing articles.
He wrote his first novel and published it as an electronic book.

Fascinated by 3D design, he worked in this field, created a few music videos using his music.
