Land of Winds

​ “Land of Winds” - is a creative documentary movie telling the story about nearly extinct Curonian-Latvian community, mainly the members of the old generation. The film reveals little-known fragments of the history of a small Lithuanian seaside town named Šventoji, highlighting its multi-cultural dimensions, connections with the Latvian culture and Baltic heritage. Herewith it talks about the relationship between human and his own and foreign culture, nation and native place. Lithuanian-Latvian borderline – the space where two different countries, people and their traditions meet each other.
