The Los Angeles International Music Video Festival - LAMV - is an exciting event that brings together musicians, filmmakers, and fans from all over the world to celebrate the art of music videos. The festival showcase a wide range of music videos from different genres, styles, and cultures, giving audiences a chance to explore and appreciate the diversity of music and visual storytelling.

The main goal of LAMV is to create a platform for independent artists to showcase their work and gain exposure in the industry. This gives artists a chance to have their work seen by a wider audience and to connect with other professionals in the industry.

In addition to screenings, we host a range of other events such as panels, workshops, and special performances. These events provide opportunities for attendees to learn about the creative process behind music videos, network with other professionals in the industry, and enjoy live music performances.

One of the key features for this year is the venue. LAMV are held in interesting location: the Culver Steps at Townplaza in Downtown Culver City, open do the public. This adds to the excitement and atmosphere of the festival, creating a memorable experience for all involved.

Each category-winner receives a LAMV trophy, prizes courtesy from our sponsors. The winner for the Best Music Video will be announced during the final ceremony on the last night of the festival and awarded with 2,000 dollars!!!

Submission Criteria

* SUBMISSIONS FOR BEST MUSIC VIDEO YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT TO AT LEAST 1 MORE CATEGORY.

Music videos will have been completed no earlier than January 1st, 2022. Music videos must not exceed 8 minutes.

For the screening version, the music videos should not contain any [written] production credits at the end of the video (i.e. credit roll). However, at first, you may submit your video as it is.

Filmmakers, producers, and/or musicians who submit their video to the LAMV Music Video Festival must possess all of the necessary permissions/rights to that video. At first, you won’t be asked for those, however, if the video will get nominated, it will be necessary.

The applicant grants the LAMV Music Video Festival the non-exclusive rights to reproduce the video and/or part of the video, and to showcase the video for the purposes of the event and/or its promotion.

* SUBMISSIONS FOR BEST MUSIC VIDEO YOU HAVE TO SUBMIT TO AT LEAST 1 MORE CATEGORY.

** BEST CLASSIC MUSIC VIDEO accepts music video made before 2010.

*** During the festival, we will have live shows as part of the official selection for the best music video. In addition, we will open a category for artists and groups/bands to showcase their work. We will curate the selection carefully, taking into consideration factors such as the number of participants in the project, country of origin, genre, among others.
