STORIES of HOPE that UNITE
MISSION:
To Nurture the Transformational Power of Media
by showcasing emerging voices and honoring filmmakers
who have given us stories of hope for a united world.
Movies aren't over after the credits roll.
When the lights come up, the conversations begin.
The Lake Arrowhead Film Festival (LAFF) is predicated on the belief that movies only fulfill their potential when they stir thought, inspire reflection.
At LAFF, films are selected to encourage discussion. All screenings are followed by hour-long breakouts during which moviemakers and movie lovers engage in facilitated conversation, nurturing a greater appreciation of the art and instilling a better, more hopeful understanding of the world we share... Beyond the Credits.
