Films with Kurdish-feminist and queer perspectives will be showcased, portraying diverse mechanisms of oppression and the resistance against them. The selection of films will be made by a jury consisting of the festival team and external advisors. An effort will be made to ensure a heterogeneous composition of the jury, representing various perspectives in a balanced manner. The film selection will also consider gender parity and cultural diversity.

Filmmakers from Kurdish regions can submit their films free of charge by sending us an email to the following address: "screener@kurdischefilmtage.de". In the email, they should specify their Kurdish region of origin and request a code from us.
