Wu Kun, born in 1990 in the mysterious southwest of China, is a film director with great insight and innovative thinking. With his unique film perspective and in-depth humanistic thinking, he enables the audience to experience the “meaning of existence” and “self-observation” in his films.
“Voices of April” is set against the backdrop of the 2022 COVID-19 lockdown. It explores the creative predicament of a female poet as well as her exploration of love. This conveys the theme of “only by overcoming inner fear can one start over”. This work‘s Chinese name’is named after the last poem “Narrative Poem” by the famous Chinese poet Hai Zi.
