I'm Kolyo St. Kolev, born in Targovishte, Bulgaria in 1988th, may the 22th.
I started shooting in 2014. My first cam was Canon Legria handycam. I start shooting sport events - especially football. I was news website reporter and this was my first camera job - camera operator in news business.

During the work my passion to make films make brave enough to invest what i earn in drone. I bought my first one in 2016th - DJI Phantom 3 Advanced. A year later my first aerial film was selected in film festival - Drone Up International Film Festival and was a finalist. This gave me a courage to develop my filming skills and I invest time, passion, ofcource - money to make my work looks more professional. In 2018 my boss bought me a DSLR of Nikon with kit lens and this was my first time when i found what manual focus is and what DOF (deph of field) is. I shot my first short film in 2019th and my dreams came true.

In July of 2019 i did my big step up. I bought my first cinema camera - Blackmagic pocket cinema camera 4K and then I understand what is real image quality of RAW video. It was a year I updated my drone too. I order Mavic 2 Pro and its 10bit colors are amazing!

And now - when i have equipment my ideas and dreams started to become true one by one. And this is what my way is. What is yours?
