Late Night Talking

Logline: A cynical college girl and her insightful classmate venture around their city at night, sharing stories and perspectives that alter the way they view the world.

Synopsis: Layla and Connor are college students in the same class. Layla is very outspoken, while Connor keeps to himself. In the evening, the two run into each other at the city library. They decide to walk back to campus together, but get sidetracked as their conversation progresses. Layla and Connor venture around the city, sharing opinions about adulthood and society, and challenging each other’s ideas about the future. They stay out all night talking. Layla, a cynic, questions her risk-averse approach to life. Connor, who’s shy, debates the merits of his daily silence. When they see each other in class again, nothing has outwardly changed, but both are left forever affected by their conversation.
