A 2-day animation conference, marketplace and expo hosted in Kingston, Jamaica. The themes are “Learn, Earn and Display”. The events boasts over 28 sessions with global and local leaders in the animation industry participating in workshops, seminars, panels, master-classes and more.
Our marketplace will have content-buyers from free-to-air TV, cable networks and over-the-top content providers and distributers. All our participants and delegates will be available through speed meeting and the business-to-business lounge.

1 - In keeping with its core brand message of LEARN, EARN and DISPLAY, KingstOOn will host three (3) competitions in 2016: (1) KingstOOn Emerging Animated Content Competition (KEACC) – open only to Caribbean animators, enthusiasts and associated
practitioners; (2) KingstOOn Pitch Competition – open only to participants in the KingstOOn Emerging Animated Content Competition; (3) KingstOOn International Animated Film Festival (KIAFF) – open to all producers of animated content internationally.
2 - Content submitted to previous instances of KingstOOn is not allowed. Entrants are allowed a maximum two (2) submissions to KingstOOn. That is, an entrant may make two (2) submissions to the Emerging Animated Content Competition, or one (1) submission to the Emerging Animated Content Competition and one (1) submission to the Film Festival. Entrants are NOT allowed more than one (1) submission to the Film Festival. Entrants are
NOT allowed more than one (1) submission to the Pitch Competition.
3 - Full-time staff of the World Bank, Government of Jamaica, or other government agency involved in the organization of KingstOOn Festival may not participate.
4 - ALL pieces should be animated. Pieces that are augmented with live action must be at least 75% animated to be eligible for entry into a KingstOOn competition
