Maya Shimron is an 18-year-old nonbinary filmmaker and screenwriter based in Lexington, Massachusetts (USA). They currently go to Lexington High School and are planning on pursuing Film and Television in college. Maya is a freelance filming volunteer for LexMedia, a local television station, and also does some freelance photography for dancers and family portraits. In their free time, they like to read tarot cards, tap dance, and admire the bowls in their kitchen (because they are clearly the superior form of crockery).
My goal in life is to uplift queer voices. Voices that have been misrepresented and are underrepresented in the modern media. While I am still young and have a lot to learn, I will do what I can during every step of my journey to accurately represent my community.
