Nicole began her career in directing in 2013, whilst studying at University of Worcester. As she had recently returned from travelling, she decided that the best way to kick start her career was to make the most use out of the kit available, so she directed a few shorts and her debut feature film 'In a Year'. Her films have gone onto being selected at small festivals around the world, whilst 'In a Year' was selected, and nominated, at the 2016 Long Beach Indie International Film, Music and Media Festival.
She has a high passion for filmmaking and also works as a producer, running her own film production company, Sonder Pictures. On top of this, she is a festival director of the High Peak Independent Film Festival, which she decided to start in 2016.
As soon as I read the script for 'Kaleidoscope', I knew straight away that I wanted to direct the film. It was such a beautiful film and I couldn't miss the opportunity to bring it to life. Being able to bring the script to life was fantastic and working with our three talented actors really showed the potential of how well the film could work. I'm excited to see the film go further and, with the positive feedback it's received so far, I'm hoping it will capture audiences across the world.
