Director Statement

'The Box' which is a suspenseful thriller, with a run time of 4:34 minutes long, is a film about a women who has a strange box arrive at her door. She has no knowledge to whats inside, with a date on 'The Box', only time will tell whats sealed within.

Actress, Charlotte Wisdom performed very well as it's my first time working with her. She tackled and executed everything I asked of her with no hesitation.

The look I gave the film was a dull and eerie feel which I also wanted the viewer to feel enticed while watching. The sound effects, suspense music in the film and facial expressions made by Charlotte made me feel like I trapped a certain feeling. This feeling is perfect for the kind of film I was looking for with mystery. A lot of fast cuts were added to show different days to speed up the pace. Towards the end I slowed the cuts down with longer scenes to get the mind thinking into what is going on.
