Born in January 1999 in the city of Três Corações - MG, João Emanuel Santos Ramos has been in contact with the seventh art since childhood under the influence of his parents, simple and humble people who always made time to watch cartoons and other cinematic works with him. In childhood, he was also exposed to other areas of art, spending his time painting, drawing, reading comic books, and, especially, playing video games, which is considered a crucial aspect of his development as a person and an artist, as through this contact, he improved his learning skills, seeking, through self-teaching, to understand how the things that interested him worked. In adolescence, somewhat aimless, João Emanuel kept one foot in the field of arts, but it wasn't his focus until the age of 19. At this point, he finally found his place in the Animation Cinema and Digital Arts course at the School of Fine Arts at UFMG, where he was able to experience different audiovisual fields, to refine his skills, and finally to immerse himself in the arts. During this process, he conducted small studies and participated in four live-action short films and three animated short films, two of them being Queda Livre and Sussurros de uma Caixa de Papelão. Currently, he creates visual and audiovisual pieces for social media, and, in his free time, he nurtures his imaginative side by writing and bringing to life the universe within himself.
