We are delighted to announce the 5th edition of the Jharkhand National Film Festival (JNFF) 2024 which is coming up on Oct, 2024 at Jamshedpur, the Steel City of India.

JNFF'24, an International film festival, turns the Steel City into a Film City and a Fun City. This year JNFF opened the "International Window'' to invite International filmmakers to showcase their talents and magic on celluloid before 5000+ live audiences and nearly one lakh online viewers.

JNFF aims to provide a strong platform for the filmmakers of India, especially those from Jharkhand. We also encourage talented students from different film schools to enter the film industry, especially those who are handicapped due to financial issues.

Submissions are now open for JNFF24. The categories in this section are Future films, Short films, documentaries, and Music Videos.

JNFF is closely associated with ASMA Charitable Trust and Mitra Productions which promotes social awareness and inculcates a healthy film appreciation culture amongst the people of Jharkhand.

Jharkhand National Film Festival, in its four years of existence, has earned accolades from film lovers, directors, and artists as one of the most colourful & elegant film festivals in India.

Rules & Terms

1) JNFF reserve's the right to refuse to screen any submission deemed by the Festival to be inappropriate.

a) Streaming of film will be in offline mode.
b) For watching install it from play store and stream.

2) In the event of a film being withdrawn, JNFF will not be liable for refund of the fee or return the materials entered.

3) JNFF will decide the date and time when submissions will be screened. JNFF cannot be held accountable for changes to the schedule after the festival line-up is announced.

4) A fee is required upon submission. For payment structures, see fee payment on the site. Please ensure your film is ready to send to us at the time of entry.

5) If music or additional film material used in your film is not original, then permission from source must be obtained. The responsibility for this rests entirely with the filmmaker. Failure to obtain clearance could result in your film being withdrawn from the Festival. In this event, JNFF will not be liable to refund the fee or return the materials entered.

6) WE WOULD LIKE TO ENSURE THAT THE JUDGES VIEW YOUR FILM IN THE HIGHEST QUALITY POSSIBLE SO WILL ONLY ACCEPT FINAL CUTS. PLEASE MAKE SURE THAT YOUR FILM IS READY AT THE TIME OF ENTRY. .

7) Once we have received your Film, Photo(s), Fee and Form you will receive an email confirming your entry is ‘In Consideration’. Please note that unless we receive ALL these items your entry is NOT confirmed.

10) Students will get 50% off on Registration.

11.) If you are not attending the award ceremony and you are awarded, then you have to pay for the courier and packaging charges.
