Jim O'Brien : Exorcist
Meet Jim O'Brien.
A tank of a man and a newly ordained priest, Jim runs Exorcism Department of a small church in the heart of Melbourne, Australia.
Jim was not always a man of the cloth. In the classic tale of "getting in with the wrong crowd", Jim left high school early and descended into a world of loitering, littering, drugs, bare knuckle boxing, even venturing into the world of amateur pornography - until he finally found God and pledged himself to a life of helping others.
Day to day life in the church plays out much like any other mundane 9-5 office environment until Jim gets a call from a particularly distressed Mr. Hayes whose teenage daughter Elizabeth is presenting all the typical signs of a full blown demonic possession: speaking in tongues, distorted features, rancid stench and extreme strength and violence. Fortunately, Jim knows MMA...

Paul is a British Actor & Director currently living in Melbourne, Australia. Since training in Classical Acting at The Royal Central School of Speech & Drama in London, Paul's acting career has flourished both on screen and stage.
His first writing and directing project was a six part mockumentary series titled "(Working) Holiday" which followed the lives of a group of young European backpackers as they navigated life down under. The show was released online with huge success and has since been aired on Australian Television in Victoria, South Australia & Queensland.
When it comes to art, there's three things I love - something that makes me think, something that makes me jump and something that makes me laugh - In "Jim O'Brien : Exorcist" I aim to share these three with the audience too.
I've always been a huge fan of mockumentary style comedy, of course The Office being the textbook example of this, and how it is a fantastic style and tool with which to explore any and every theme imaginable - an office, an Australian high school, a share house of vampires... Combining my love of supernatural horror with this comedic and often tongue in cheek way of story telling I'm sure audiences will enjoy watching 'Jim O'Brien : Exorcist" as much as we enjoyed making it.
