Jemma Cotter is a director based in Melbourne, Australia. She grew up on the small island of Honiara in the Solomon Islands and relocated to regional Australia as a teenager. She graduated with a Bachelor of Film and Television (Hons) from Swinburne University of Technology in 2014. After completing her studies, she won a Highly Commended award from Tropfest for 'Pills of Wisdom' and her short comedy 'Flicking the Bean' toured nationally, including Melbourne International Comedy Festival, CinefestOZ, and Sydney Fringe Festival.
