Who's at the Door?

Due to an unfortunate accident, 17-year old Jamie Patterson had to decline a Hawaiian cruise with her family and stay at home. To protect the home while they were away, Jamie's father installed a video-monitored doorbell. Little did Jamie know that the device that was supposed to guard her would ultimately become her biggest nightmare. At 3:33 PM, Jamie received a notification on her phone that the doorbell rang; however, there was no one at the door...With the aid of her estranged boyfriend, Jamie unravels a mystery more dangerous than she could possibly imagine in order to answer one simple question: "Who's at the door?"

Director Biography - JC Bratton

Growing up loving horror and mystery tales, fiction short story writer JC Bratton pays homage to the Point Horror novels she would read as a kid: stories such as Slumber Party by Christopher Pike and Twisted by RL Stine. Some of her biggest influences are Alfred Hitchcock, Lois Duncan, Stephen King and Richard Matheson. JC does have a day job but would really be excited if some great streaming service (!) would make a movie based on her first short story. JC resides in the heart of Silicon Valley: San Jose, California.

At this time, I am looking for a production company who is willing to take my first short story, Who's at the Door?, and bring it to life! I have created a teaser / trailer that defines the mood and covers the prologue. I am working on the full screenplay and have included a preview draft.
