Jay Ng (jaywynnstan) is a Hongkie Producer/ Director currently based in Toronto. His style mirrors the essence of the city he was raised in – a confluence of Eastern and Western influences, and a fusion of nostalgia with the new wave.

Inspired by the Japanese principle of Wabi-Sabi (侘寂), Jay's recent personal projects delve into the theme of farewells. His preferred use of cultural reference, disjunctive editing with mixed media elements, and emotion-evoking colours is what make his visuals unique.

Jay started as a co-founder & creative producer at the Hong Kong-based creative/ production agency, Studio Dunstein. Over time, he gradually shifted more towards the role of a director, a transition that gained momentum in the fall of 2021.
