Hello, my name is Jared Mayerson and I am currently studying at USC's School of Cinematic Arts for an MFA in Film & Television Production with a focus on directing and editing.

I previously worked as an editor at Gunpowder & Sky and graduated summa cum laude from Elon University as a Communications Fellow, studying Cinema & Television Arts and Photography.

During my time at Elon, I served as the President of Cinelon Productions, Elon's student-run film production company, and as the Station Manager and Production Director of Elon Student Television.

I also worked in a few different capacities for the university. I was a Videographer/Video Editor for the Office of University Communications, and a Teaching Assistant and Video Production Assistant for the School of Communications.

I also completed research with Elon's Imagining the Internet Center. I served as the team's Video Director and traveled to Berlin, Paris, Geneva, San José, Los Angeles, and Washington, D.C. to gather response data and edit/upload video at various global and United Nations internet conferences.

While a student, I have completed internships with Rock Paper Scissors and Gunpowder & Sky in LA, with The American Pavilion at the Cannes Film Festival, and with Myriad in Raleigh, NC.
