Camdan Mead is a student filmmaker who studied Video Production at Warren Tech and has since made a variety of creative works, both within and outside the film world.
"It's Time" has been a (probably slightly over-ambitious) labor of love over the past two years. It started out as a school assignment, and quickly turned in to a much bigger passion project. I'm so thrilled to have completed it and to be able to finally share it with the world, and am so thankful for the support of everyone who worked on it with me.
The goal of "It's Time" is to make a different sort of environmental film. Too many films of this genre are hopeless documentaries, and the idea was to create a more engaging narrative film with a hopeful message. The takeaway that I want the audience to have is that film and entertainment is a great way to convey a message, and that anyone (especially young filmmakers) can make one that has the potential for impact.
This film was created on an extraordinarily small budget by a large team entirely made up of volunteers who gave their time to make this dream a reality.
