Originally from Tainan, Taiwan, Ivyy Chen is an Animation Director and Illustrator, currently living in London where she graduated with a degree of BA in Illustration Animation at Kingston University. Prior to this, she graduated with a degree of BFA in Multimedia and Animation Art at National Taiwan University of Arts.
Her work ‘The Chair of Life’ made during her study at Kingston won the Third Prize at Macmillan Prize in 2015 as the youngest winner of the year. Her graduation film ‘Lost in Words’ was selected as a semi-finalist by Adobe Design Achievement Awards and was shortlisted in London Short Film Festival, Taichung International Animation Festival and more. In 2017, she launched her first solo show ‘On Chair’ in Taipei showcasing her chair works.
