I am a 26 year old writer/director and graduate from NYU Tisch School of the Arts, Maurice Kanbar Institute of Film & Television. My previous works have won awards in festivals and competitions across the country in both narrative and experimental genres with a consistent through line of stories focused on human struggle woven with the smallest threads of magic. While at NYU, I discovered a love for unconventional storytelling as a means to access humanity in a new light. My work has been palpably impacted by films with unique narratives such as Moonlight (2016) and You Were Never Really Here (2017). I try to push my characters to their limits in my most recent short "Everything is Wonderful," continually asking the audience, “What do we become when we sacrifice everything for our loved ones?”
