Intruders in the Delta
"Intruders in the Delta" is about the terrible consequences of the arrival of invasive species at the Ebro Delta Natural Park, a virgin habitat located in South-eastern Catalonia. The red swamp crayfish, the island apple snail and the blue crab still have an important influence on the socio-economic fabric of this area. The other side of the coin of living in a globalized world.

Oriol Cervera Subirats (Spain, 1994): After attending a Biology BA and a Documentary Direction MA in Barcelona, he travels to the UK to combine his two passions: cinema and nature. There he studied a Wildlife Documentary Production MA in the University of Salford, where he made several short environmental films.
His documentaries have an ironic touch and explore the human-wildlife relationship, always from a critical and balanced point of view.
