Private Project

inhale

Alone and newly pregnant, Jess grapples with the realities of the present and the pull of the past as she readies herself to return to work in the aftershock of her husband's sudden death. INHALE is a poignant exploration of the weight of even the most mundane tasks in the face of loss, the fragility of human resilience, and the profound task of putting one foot in front of another in the wake of tragedy.

Director Statement

When my collaborators and friends, Devin Brain and Paul Lieber, asked me to embark on a creative journey with them, there was no hesitation. Devin and Paul provided the space for me to breathe life into the expansion of my artistic self, to answer a call that has been getting louder. For that, I am forever grateful.

INHALE explores some of my deepest fears, juxtaposed with my firm belief in love and the strength of what it means to be human. Tragedy is part of the human condition, and we are all survivors.
