Director Biography - flavio Pedota

Film director with 8 years of experience, his first short film was in homage to
the 138 radio stations in Venezuela that were censored by the government in the
In 2009, the film was later the official section of the Sombor film festival in Serbia, its
second short film "Trata de Blancas" which was selected at the festival
Ibero-American Viart de Caracas. After several recognitions by Amnesty
Venezuela International as a prominent filmmaker in favor of human rights in the campaign

He made his first feature film called "Infection" that was selected in the work in progress section of Blood Window
Argentina, within the framework of the Ventana del Sur market. Then he won two prizes
at the 2017 Guadalajara international film festival and invited to the Cannes market
of the same year even in its post-production stage.

Infection is the first zombie movie made in Venezuela, made independently with the goal of entretaing all the Z genre fans and to leave a message about the actual political and social situation of Venezuela.
