Can cinema be the right instrument to liberate and transform a rebel? This creative documentary wants to investigate if and how, in the real life of its protagonist, the filmic narration can offer a new way to the gaze of an outlaw, so far forced to a existence confined between delinquency and detention. This film will not try to reconstruct the past of the protagonist, but will offer it to him as a tool to investigate his identity and that of our present. With the aim of revealing, beyond the cold profile of a public enemy, what is behind the human being. Alberto lives an unrestlessness condition, different from what political inmates can experience, with their proudness in the failure. Far from having been defeated as a person, he regrets the way his life’s entirely gone in captivity but, at the same time, he doesn’t show any contrition for his choices. This knot of frustration and aspiration is the very core of my interest on his person, because of the resonance between with the universal unsolved condition of every human being. And more, because of the call to art to offer a different way to experience the world, its contradictions, beyond comfortable and aligned positions.

Il racconto filmico può essere lo strumento giusto per affrancare e rendere inafferrabile un ribelle? Questo documentario di creazione vuole indagare se e come, nella vita reale del suo protagonista, la narrazione filmica può offrire una via libera allo sguardo di un fuorilegge, finora costretto ad un'esistenza confinata tra delinquenza e detenzione. L’incontro con la telecamera (e con il regista) vuole essere per lui e, contemporaneamente, per lo
spettatore, l’occasione di una duplice relazione: con il mondo libero da ri-conoscere da un lato e con la sua realtà intima dall’altro, per conoscerla prima di cedere al bisogno di giudicarla. Questo film non ricostruisce la vicenda passata del protagonista, ma si offre a lui come uno strumento di indagine sulla propria identità e su quella del nostro presente. Con l’obiettivo di rivelare, oltre il solido profilo di un nemico pubblico, l’essere umano, il suo groviglio di contraddizioni, i segni che su di lui ha lasciato l’esperienza detentiva.
