Patricia Seriniyom is a 23-year-old recent graduate student from the University of the Arts in London, in BA Animation. She sets to explore themes of self-reflection through visual storytelling in her work. Utilizing her skills as an animator and writer as well as her love for traditional animation, she aims to create films of universal experiences with unique imagery. She was born and raised in Thailand and now lives in London.
What started as two graduate projects about hopeless devotion and reconnecting with one's inner child merged and became an introspective look on regret and identity. Patricia and Despina brought forth their own artistic touch to the film, with three different animation styles ranging from traditional paper animation to experimental textures. The film aims to capture the universal yet deeply personal journey towards self-realisation, riddled with convoluted regrets and memories.
