The festival will explore the key issues of the isolated deaf from enjoying the main stream cinemas. It will make an attempt to project the daily social life styles along with the deaf, hard for hearing and the hearing by creative cinema.

It will boost the urge for communicating with standard sign language in the social system in India amongst the youth.

By achieving this motive, there could be a balance and better connecting deaf and the society.

  • Unfortunately I was not attending the festival but I have a great communication with a team through the emails. My film had been submitted here, no problems. The festival was positive for everyone especially they are very supportive for Deaf women filmmakers. Highly recommendation for both deaf and hearing filmmakers come from India and International submit the festival in the nearest future.
