After I lost my mother I began a spiral of chaos.
A seed of sorrow flourished in me as I laid in the bath for a year contemplating. The anxiety and deep longing I felt lead me to document my experiences using a camera I received as a gift from my mother. The Sony Handy-Cam that I cared little about was now damaged and desperately clinging on to an era where my mother lived - I related to it.
I documented my daily struggle for hope using this camera and the damaged footage spoke to me. This short is a representation of my current inner workings as captured by the camera my mother bought me decades ago.
