"An Idle Heart" is the story of two ordinary people, Sam and Kate. They share a beautiful love for each other. Each want to be a better person for the other, and that makes their love extraordinary. It is the wanting to be better, wanting to be perfect that leads to Sam waiting for years to ask Kate to be his wife. Tragically Kate is injured in a terrible accident, leaving Sam to deal with the fallout of his putting off living happily ever after with Kate.
