The ideograms of the Chinese script belong to the logographic script where the symbols represent whole words, concepts, ideas.
So in this sense it is a writing where the ideogram, the symbol, tries to simulate the idea of thought not completely, but with an illustrative effort.
In animation the ideograms move, evolve, transform into something other than what they were originally created to describe, into something new, emphasizing their creative transformation capturing a new imaginary world in the course of the work through the change of forms and the randomness of the moment.

Director Biography - Fotis maneloopus Lazidis

Brief CV
Education: Degree in Economics, University of Macedonia.
Music Studies / Seminars: Classical guitar and music's theory at the Municipal Conservatory of Xanthi.
In 2012 I attended the summer school organized by the Ionian University, Department of Music Studies entitled "Electronic music and sound interaction", with professors Andrew Mniestris, Theodore Lotis, Giannis Zanos and Filippos Theocharidis.
In 2015 I participated in the experimental music improvisation workshop organized by the composer and improviser PhD Alexis Porpheriadis.
In 2016 I participated in the seminar entitled "Music in between", organized by the associate professor of the Department of Music Studies, AUTh. Danae Stefanou at the Thessaloniki Concert Hall.
Since 2015 I participate in the music improvisation ensemble "6daexit" which deals with free and controlled improvisation (performance of graphic and verbal scores of experimental music composers of the 20th and 21st century). In the following years, 2016 until today, I participated with the group in a series of festivals (Dimitria 2017, Multeece 2017, Openday May'68, “Music Bridge” an association program of the Onassis stegi Foundation and Panteion University Vol.4, European Music Day 2019 - Enclosures-Pass-Throughs / T.C.H. , Openday 2020 - Music ecologies.
