Ian Has A Problem

Ian, after going out for his 26th birthday, has a late night encounter with a strange man that tells him happy birthday. Suspicions arise the next morning when Ian realizes that he can't figure out how the strange man knew it was HIS birthday. After telling a couple friends about the strange encounter, they convince Ian that he is being targeted by gang, and he begins to panic. Ian further investigates the strange man until he uncovers his unlikely fate.

Director Biography - Matthew Birks

Born in the small farm-town community of DeWitt, IA, Matthew has grown to love the world of movies. As a child, he received a Flip Video Camcorder for Christmas and has since fallen in love with visual story telling. After growing up in a low income family, Matthew joined the Military after High School so that he could continue to pursue his filmmaking dreams in college. He has since devoted his time at the University of Iowa producing short films and helping other students on their filmmaking pursuits. He even leads a student organization at the U of I that focuses primarily on video production. He has big plans and ambitions to work on the sets of major motion pictures after he graduates from The University of Iowa with a Bachelor of Arts in Cinema.
