We've all seen the "question mark in a box" emoji...but is it capable of ruining a relationship? Although a lighthearted comedy, this is a film about technology, people, and relationships. Technology evolves and progresses so rapidly that sometimes even our phones can't keep up with each other. We may all have smartphones now, but I remember growing up in the early 2000's--when the internet was relatively new and VHS tapes were still a thing--and this simpler time holds nostalgia for many in my generation. I am a product of what seems like two entirely different and separate eras that somehow blended together, so I wanted to blend the retro aesthetic with a modern one in this film.
