Hyo Bin, who occasionally goes by Andrea or Hyonce, was born in Seoul, Korea. She was fortunate to have experienced diversity in culture and ideas due to her diplomat dad who moved his family to different countries. Hyo Bin loves meeting new people and hearing their thoughts and ideas concerning life and ideology. At Pratt Institute, she had the opportunity to meet all sorts of people and learn how to be open-minded. In her animation career, Hyo Bin is very passionate about promoting diversity and exploring human emotion in depth. Her goal is to become an animation director who creates animations/movies that provide people with an opportunity to re-evaluate their meaning of happiness and what they want to achieve in their lifetime.
